Life decisions that change your life

Life decisions are those that change your life and its context in a big way. We can all remember such turning points in our lives, whether we made a conscious decision to change or a series of small incremental decisions that resulted in the change:

  • leaving the home of our parents, our childhood for the first time
  • our first job
  • our first relationship
  • relocation, uprooting
  • deciding to quit our job or end a relationship
  • leaving the status quo to pursue a dream
  • getting married
  • becoming a parent
  • retirement
  • starting a new business

In this 6-page issue, seven contributors share their stories of how they made their life decisions.

Balbir Chagger, relationship counsellor and coach

Gill Stribling-Wright, television producer

Daddy Fatsacks, expatriate professional in London

Ann Sarson, reflexologist

Joan Yap, trainer, writer, publisher

Alice McVeigh, cellist and novelist (All Risks Musical, Ghost Music, etc)

Buddy Claude, dentist

Many thanks to the contributors!
