I googled "loneliness in cyberspace" in hopes of finding my own bon journal entry. Instead, I found an article on the Carnegie Mellon study (Researchers Find Sad, Lonely World in Cyberspace) which concluded that that people who interact in cyberspace are prone to depression. This is bad news, for I was hoping cyberspace to be the answer to keeping in touch with those you'd otherwise can't due to time and space (distance).
Dear Readers
First of all, I want to apologise for not updating this Bon Journal entry section since September.
I know many of you are regulars, and some of you have been kind enough to drop me a line to ask if I'm okay.
I have been more than okay. Very happy. Extremely busy. Probably busier than ever ---- in the real world of face-to-face conversations and interactions.
I have many photographs and music to share with you. Mentally I have been jotting down what I would write if I had the time. That mental bon journal has been overflowing with prose and verse.
Please be patient and wait a little longer.
Meanwhile, I will never let go of an opportunity to put your thoughtful feedback in the READERS WRITE section of this website. In other words, don't refrain from writing to me, even if I am too busy to write to the world.
Yours gratefully,
Anne Ku
